Download and Installation:
MC-TagIt can be downloaded by clicking the icon below. You will need to unzip the program and then install it by double-clicking the setup.exe program. Installation defaults to C:\ProgramFiles\MCTagit, but this can be changed during setup. The Zip file is approximately 1.7 MB.

Be sure all programs are closed and turn off virus checking software before beginning the installation. Conflict problems have been reported between MC-TagIt installation and McAfee Anti-Virus software. If you receive a prompt telling you that a file being installed is older than one on your system, and asking if you want it replaced, answer NO. You should always keep the most current files. If you get a prompt informing you that a file is write-protected, select "Ignore". The file being installed already exists, and MC-TagIt will use that version instead of the one being distributed. Review the installation comments in readme1st.txt.
